CPT creates innovative programs tailored to fit everyone regardless of where they are on their fitness journey. When writing each workout, we are very methodical while creating every movement with physiology and biomechanics in mind. Every move has a purpose and we prioritize the importance of establishing that mind-to-muscle connection.
The majority of clients will train 3-6 times a week and our programs are designed to support consistent weekly routines without any worry of overtraining. We test every program before they are released to the members to ensure it meets CPT standards.
The benefits of being consistent with our programs have been continuously proven. The positive change in health markers, the obvious strength gain, the incredible aesthetic changes from body recomposition, and the most important being the overall mental health and emotional well being our members have achieved. We take extreme pride and dedication here at CPT and taking care of our members is our number one priority.
MEET THE OWNER AND FOUNDER
My name is Kadi Rae Carr, and I am the proud owner and creator of Carr Performance Training. Throughout my life, I have been deeply involved in sports. However, an unfortunate shoulder injury forced me to step back from the game I loved.
During this challenging time, I discovered the power and benefits of training. Not only did it aid in my physical recovery, but it also became a source of solace and strength for me during my darkest days. I knew then that I wanted to help others experience the positive impact that training can have on their lives.
That’s why I created Carr Performance Training. I wanted to make sure that everyone, regardless of their skill level or background, could be a part of this incredible community.

I'm from San Antonio, TX, but I have lived in the Austin area most of my life. I grew up loving sports and being competitive. My family and friends are a big part of my life and are where I spend most of my time outside of fitness. I've had a Dutch Shepherd mix named Pinky for 2 years that's always with me. I love living life, from festivals to kickbacks. Also love doing things like going to the movies and reading good books. Sundays are my favorite days.
A turning point in my fitness journey was being diagnosed with Testicular Cancer in 2020. I was very fortunate to have caught it early (Level 1), where it was treatable. It was a very difficult time, however, going through the process alone at the beginning of the pandemic. I was also in the middle of changing career fields from the legal field to fitness and wellness. Thankfully, I am currently in cancer remission. Amidst all that change, I was grateful to have a training program to follow and a community that helped support me in my fitness journey. I was able to recover a lot faster and, as a result, became even more passionate about helping others through their fitness journey.
My purpose as a coach is to help others live healthier lifestyles for themselves and their loved ones. In that effort, I specialize in Functional Strength Training to help people in their everyday movements and for athletic performance. I also believe in the importance of Conditioning and increasing VO2 max in every training program. I'm passionate about unconventional fitness as well, using tools such as Kettlebells, Steel Maces, Landmine Movements, and Sandbags. If there was one unconventional tool I would always recommend the most, it is Kettlebells. It's the one unconventional tool I'm most passionate about, and I recommend it to everyone. Kettlebells are a tool for strength, conditioning, and mobility. To see my clients reaching their full potential in fitness and life is very fulfilling to me and why I love to coach.
